Physical and chemical properties

There is an unpleasant odor, with a boiling point of 134.5 ℃, a specific gravity of 0.8647, a freezing point of -18 ℃, and a flash point of 90 ℉ (open cup). It has strong organic alkaline properties, and a 0.01% aqueous solution has a pH of 10.5. It forms an azeotrope with water, with a boiling point of 96.40 ℃, and is miscible with various organic solvents.
